Manchester City Marathon Aid Station

Writer's picture: Troop 99 Troop 99

The annual Manchester City Marathon was held yesterday, and Troop 99 ran the water/aid station at the Goffstown Rail Trail. This is a fundraising event for the troop, and money paid to the troop by Millennium Running is split amongst the scouts that volunteer. These funds go into their scout accounts and can be used for rechartering fees, uniforms, or camping fees, etc. It's a great opportunity for the scouts to earn some money and help out at a big community event.
