Helping a Fellow Scout in Need

Writer's picture: Troop 99 Troop 99

Troop 99 has been saddened yet supportive of the recent lengthy hospitalization of one of our assistant Scoutmasters, Mr. Lunt. Mr. Lunt has been active in our troop for years, and as part of our scouting family it was the least we could do as a troop to help out with his yard cleanup. In light of his serious health concerns, we hoped that he will return home with one less thing to worry about.

We had a fantastic turnout of over 28 scouts and parents armed with clippers, rakes, leaf blowers, loppers and most importantly, energy. In two hours' time the scouts made short work of leaves, sticks, and overgrown shrubs.
